This webcam is located at Cable Beach, Broome, Australia. The camera is hosted by the Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa. The camera faces W looking over Cable Beach and the Indian Ocean and updates frequently during daylight hours. Image updates will vary depending on the time of the year and whether the sun is in the image at the time (less images at these times to minimise sun damage to the camera). During the wet season the camera will run into the night hours and take exposures of 16 seconds which means the camera can and will capture lightning when it's around.
